Zurawski- Soul on Ice: Motherwell 1 Celtic 3, 22/1/06

Highlights of Motherwell v Celtic here.

Difficult as always, but the positive points are as follows:
Adam Virgo- looking like a £1.5m footballer (or least like a footballer)
Aiden McGeady making the difference when he came on
Pearo looking energetic too
Zurawski- sharp and deadly
Super Mo bombing up the left like, ahem, the good old days...

Things to worry about:
Nakamura was quiet (he's allowed an off day once in a while, surely)
Telfer embarrassingly caught out for pace every time someone runs at him.

Never mind- points in the bag and so on. A big step towards the title was taken today, I think...

Meanwhile, Henrik Larsson's clearly missing life in Glasgow- doesn't seem popular with his teammates or the crowd in Spain- click here to see why... (If that doesn't work, go here.)

Strachan said after the game that Nakamura hadn't been too well this week, but he decided to play him anyway as he is so important to us. Yes he was quiet, but he still looked capable of a killer pass. As such, I must admit that I was unhappy when he was taken off. This example of my judgement is perhaps one of the reasons why I haven't been picked up by one of the major clubs after a reasonably successful year managing Hillview School For Girls' Year 7/8 team.

There was quite a bit of pace in our team today and I think this made the difference.

Well done lads - in particular Mr. Bomb and young Aiden.
