Little Holes

Only a non-native speaker of English would write words so sad and unsettling as

...this is an invitation
It’s not a threat
If you want communication
That’s what you get
I’m talking and talking
But I don’t know
How to connect
And I hold a record for being patient...
With your kind of hesitation

The Cardigans- Nina adds the star quality, but no-one ever seems to talk about them, but they are so good, such beautiful music...

Nice song.

Whatever happened to them
And is she a lesbian?
When we found out not
Their music was forgot.

Anyway..
Did anyone watch that Edinburgh side win the Mickey Mouse Cup on Mother's day? My dad sneaked it on the tele in the background. Collins was crying at the end. I know why. Sunshine on Leith is one of the best songs ever. I wish it was a Celtic song. Any chance of a thread and a comment on it?

I can not summon the will to mention the Proclaimers- someone better than me can (ahem) proclaim them better.

Just now, too busy wondering what Strachan is doing with the team during the week, when they have NO clue how to

a) kill a game off

or

b) close a game out.
