Sutton

Big Sutton's away to Birmingham. Thanks for the memories- who'll forget:
two goals in the 6-2 game,
an injury time winner at Celtic Park to complete a whitewash season over Rangers,
an equaliser against Barca, a winner against Juventus,
a fifty yard run after taking a throw in at the halfway line to get on the end of a sublime Henrik Larsson cross against Lyon,
even the late penalty winner that ensured the party at Hungry Roy's wedding could keep going (or even better, the funniest penalty ever in a Scottish Cup Final),
the interview accusing Dunfermline of 'lying down' to Rangers to help them win the league in 2003?

The list goes on- he'll be remembered as one of the great number 9s ever to play at Celtic park.

What a player.
Great memories.
You've mentioned my favourites. The Barca goal, with its build up, was one of Celtic's best. I haven't attended many old firm games and the record breaker against against Rangers broke a personal jinx.

Larsson and Sutton now play elsewhere. It has to be for the best, but change for me is sometimes difficult to deal with.

Good luck to a great servant.

Most of the football greats have passed through Parkhead's gates.

and congratulations to uncle bjd

Ha! Thanks lad.

It's strange, I'm not too disappointed he's away, so long as we buy someone with the money we're saving. We need full backs- I assume that's what the money will be used for. Wilson of Dundee Utd seems to be the name everyone's talking about- if not him, then another Polish guy called Michal Zewlakow- he's at Anderlecht just now apparently. Poles are mad- bring him in. However, full backs in general aren't very exciting- it will take Robbie Keane to get me going I reckon.

Incidentally, if Thommo and Agathe both leave, that will free up something like 70k a week. 70k a week!

Robbie Keane would be great. Bring back Steven Keane from the eighties, get the band Keane on at halftime...

Freeing up money for wages is the way ahead, as long as we bring in new players, as you say. Can we get rid of Bobo at all? I used to be his biggest (and only) fan , but I'd like the Chinese lad to be given a chance - and what about Virgo?

Adam Bomb- classic!

Was it Tebilly that was known as Bomb Scare?

Adam Bomb could be the best nick name for a Celtic player ever. I've not even seen him play, but I'm now hoping that when I do, he is on the other team.
